Sustainable ties can be produced in a variety of ways. One option is to use environmentally friendly materials, such as recycled cotton. Another option is to save resources, where existing materials are used to produce new ties or a new VUP®. For example, ties, scarves or shawls that are no longer needed can be used for this. VUP® Fashion buys sustainable fabrics from leftover stocks as well as existing tie stocks and then processes them further. Each Social VUP® from our upcycling line is unisex and guaranteed to be unique.

UPCYCLING PRODUCTION PROCESS

When manufacturing our Social VUPs, old ties or fabric scraps are used to create new, individual and creative products. This means that existing materials are recycled in an improved state, so no new raw materials are used. Saving resources is a sustainable alternative to conventional production of goods and helps to conserve resources and reduce CO2 emissions.
